Hi,
i have a home video 20 mins long in DV format. When i burn(Nero) it to VCD, Nero compresses it down to around 200 MB. Can you make Nero compress this 20-min video to 700MB instead of 200MB (in other words, make this 20-min video occupy the entire CD. Therefore, have better quality)?
If Nero can't do this? is there any trick or program can what i describe above?
my system:
P4 2.4ghz
WD 100 Gig
Abode Premiere 6.0
BusLink CD-RW
Thank you

Dont use nero to encode VCD it is not very good. Use TMPGEnc to encode to VCD compliant mpeg and then nero to author and burn if you want.
VCD compliant mpeg is 1150kbps or approx 10MB/Min so 20 minutes will be 200MB this is not negotiable.
If you want better quality (firstly it will look much better at VCD using TMPGENc) then you can make an XVCD using a higher bitrate for mpeg1. Or make a SVCD mpeg2 (find out if your player will play these) this has a greater resolution and bitrate upto 2520kpbs
