    Looking to buy one for my nephew. Was about to get the Apex one that Circuity City has but not hearing good things. Does anyone else recommend anything. Player should be able to handle most formats.

    Don't have one myself, but I gave a DVD-R that I made with my Panasonic DMR-HS2 to a friend who has an inexpensive GoVideo combo player, and it didn't play. Neither would a VCD that I gave him.

    Don't know the model, but just based on this I wouldn't get a GoVideo myself.
