After encodeing my avi. file with TMPGEnc I check to see if the finish mpg. work the way that I want. The move played fine. After burning with vcdeasy onto disk and watching it on my standalone dvd player the video seems to speed up or slow down in random spots. The audio stays at normal speed. If I watch the same vcd on my pc dvd player it will play fine ,no problems. Not sure what to do if anything. My dvd player is a philips dvd720. According to all capatibility charts everything should play fine. Any suggestion are more than welcome. This is the first time I've come across this problem after many vcd's.

the avi. was pal 25fps. i used goldwave to make a wav. audio file. I used TPMGEnc to encode tha avi to vcd NTSC film. 23.976fps. I used vcdeay to make a 2.0 vcd bin/cue. I forgot to mention the audio and video will stay insync exept when the video speed changes. once the video recovers the audio and video are insync again. it is almost like the video is adjusting to stay insync with the audio throughtout the movie.

i normally use vdub but the audio is ac3. and for some reason i can get head3ache(-misspelled) to work on my pc. any other programs that are good to use? Today I just ran across a new problem. the audio and video will be insync and them about 5 mins into it you can notice the audio slow getting ahead of the video. by the end of the movie audio and video are way off. same setup as above for the encoding and burning.
