burning DVDR for home dvd+R recorder

I have author and burn selfmade dvdr but they can not be read by a Philips home dvd +R recorder.
These dvdr are author by ulead dvd moviefactory(super 8 films on DV cam and with firewire to pc).
I have burn them with Nero with a Samsung MRA02B (DVD-R/RAM burner)
Which program and media must I use so that these Philips home DVD +R/+RW recorder can read that?

PS:
Burning with Nero,no problems with cheap home dvdplayers to play them.
Burning with Nero,problems with Philips home DVDplayers.But when I burn with Pinnacle instant copy no problems on Philips home dvdplayers.
But I can't find a sollution for the philips home DVD + Writer

if not.. find a trick in DVDRhelp.com to make it region free dvd player

Are you sure that your dvd recorder supports dvd-r?? Check our compatibility list and read the user comments(if any).
