  1. i have just downloaded a video but the vision is stuck and wont play, but the sound plays. the file is avi. i put it thru G-Spot and it said that every thing was OK and it should play. does anyone have any ideas, tanx.

  3. i'm new to this game, i opened VD but cant find out how to check video stream for errors. i looked under the video heading but cant see anything. please advise, tanx.

    Load your video into Virtual Dub. Select Video-->Scan video stream for errors. The errors will be reported in a log.

  5. i have loaded the video into VD but under the video heading there is no 'scan' to be seen. i have VD 1.3c version. either i'm completely dumb or i dont know what?

  7. no Tommy it doesn't have the 'scan' at the bottom of the list. you have version 1.4 , maybe this is the reason?

  9. easier said than done Tommy, i've tried to DL virtualdub but you get bounced to these mirror sites where nothing happens. there doesn't seem to be anything to DL on these sites.....very confusing.
