    every time i try to encode final destination 2 from an avie to mpg TMPGEnc freezes up. if I try the same set up up with any other movie it will encode. it will not encode this move. any suggestions. is it because the video is xvid? ive done a lot of vcds but this one will not encode it will lock every time. if i close the program and open it right back up and try a differn't movie it will work?

    Did you scan and remove bad frames with Virtualdub? Check the Guides section for How To.

    i had same problem. try using another xvid .codec.
