    Hi
    I'm converting avi to dvd with menu but the dvd menu is not showing up on the dvd player
    the movie is auto starting and no menu showing up in the beginning
    but when i press the menu button on the remote controle the menu shows up when the movie is playing

    You should be able to change the firstplay action. But I haven't used tda 3 just 2. But I found this from a guide:
    Finally, the "DVD playback settings" page (you will see this page as well if you selected to use a template) allows you to choose the actions that the DVD player should take when it first loads the disc and when it finishes playing a particular track. The options you see here depend on your other menu options and on how many tracks you have. If you have multiple tracks and a top menu, you should see a screen similar to the one below. The options are all fairly obvious, but the option that commercial DVDs use for multi track DVDs is "Display the top menu" for both settings. Press "OK" to end the menu creation wizard.

    When you create a menu using TMPGEnc, you have the option to make it autostart the video or display the menu first. This is in the 5th section of the Menu creation procedure, called "DVD playback settings". You'll want to select "Display the top menu" on the top section. Example image upcoming.
