If I rip a DVD-9 onto two DVD-Rs and the 2nd DVD-R contains the extras and deleted scenes, is there a way to create new menus for these extras and deleted scenes ?
I know how to create menus for mpegs I've encoded but I don't have a sweet clue on how to create menus for ripped DVDs....
Any help is appreciated....
TIA

You mean you dont want to keep the originals ? Is this for creative purposes ? Are you doing 1:1 backups ?

If you have a lot of time on your hands, you can just pull all of the assets out of the vobs with vobedit, and then re-author with something like maestro or dvd-lab.
Maybe menuedit can help you. You could make 2 copies of the IFO. One for the movie, and one for the xtras. Then use menuedit to remove the appropriate links. I've never done this but, it might work. -
You can extract the mpegs out of the VOBS with VOBEdit as ImaWeTodd said, and re-author the menu....
but you can use IFOEdit to split the DVD and put all the extras on either the just the 1st disc or 2nd disc. The extras are almost always in thier own VTS, so you can pick and choose where to put them...then you can just keep the menu links to them in the original....
