I am going to burn some of my home video on DVD+R and would like some recommendation on which DVD+R disc I should get. Price and speed do not matter as long as they last.
Any recommendations please?
PS I have already bought some Fuji DVD+R from the recent Best Buy promotion. Are they any good and if not, I can still return them (as the UPC is still there), and get the ones that are recommended.
Thanks

I only buy Fuji or Verbatim and sometimes Memorex. Using three different burners HP 200i, Sony 120A, Sony 500au. Haven't had any problems with any of the above media. When in doubt always burn first on a DVD-RW until you are positive your system is stable and reliable. You shouldn't be disappointed with Fuji.

I've made more platters with the FUJI's then with the unbranded Riteks. I think it pretty much depends on your burner as to what will be the most stable, for me with an HP200i, I personally think the HP's work the best with that drive... I guess my point is, try a bunch of the different name brands and see which one gets the best results for you.

I would go with the 4x TDK DVD+R on sale at BestBuy for a 100 pack at $189. I have burned these with my Sony DRU500ax and NEC 1100A without any problems.

why buy online while you can walk into the store and get one instantly. Bestbuy has verbatim 25 pack for $49.99 or Fuji 4X less than $2.00/each (50 pack or 25 pack) and sometimes with rebate too. I don't like the
idea to buy a hundred disc at the same time cause you don't know if the batch is good or bad. I worked for manufacturer therefore I know if a hundred disc come out, there will be a few bad disc that stay at the margin of the spec. I always buy 25 disc for less than $49.00. Best deal I got is verbatim 4X at office depot for $1.20/each included tax. unless you live in another country or where that does not have a retail store carries Dvd media. -
