  1. this is a problem i got now. ( Never had it before)

ANY AVI file i play in ANY Program ( Ex.: windvd, wmp, ect. ) the audio is delayed from the video. ( All my 30 + AVI's Are Like that) now, if i convert them to mpg the audio Sync. fix's it self but towards the end of all the video's that i convert ( Except a Few) all finish with the audio sounding like people talking under water. But the first bit of the movie the audio is in sync and fine.!?!?!?
And the other problem i had was the video was playing upside down, but after reinstalling DIVX codec the picture was now fine.

I've reinstalled many Codec's to try and fix the problem, but can't , what gets me is i can play any BIN/CUE movie MPG or WMV file ok without any problems only AVI are now giving my a problem, witch i never had that problem before.

If any of you have had this problem and know of a solution can you please write back and let me know!!!
    Thanx

  2. ok i originaly posted this on may 30th In another Section of this forum . and i still cannot get it to work all the time.

    ive:
deleted all CODECS on HD and in REG., used a dif version of tmpgenc. reinstalled only DIVX,DIRECT X and XVID. and still dont work all the time.

EX: is i got all the friends episodes season 1 - 9 and the other day i converted season 4 but episode 4 and 11 went all " UNDER WATER" affect on me, so i checked the AVI'S in Gspot to see if they are dif. in anyway.... Nope all the same but the other episodes worked ok. then i convert AMERICAN PIE 2 fine but then , THE HOT CHICK and BOAT TRIP both were no good???? all use the same codecs all converting throught same TMPGENC.

and the other thing that is odd ( i don't know if i meantioned already is) all of a sudden i cannot watch ANY ( i mean ANY) avi's on my pc ALL of them the AUDIO is off (EVERYONE) but when i convert it to MPEG ( even if it gives me the underwater affect ) the audio and video is now correct without me having to do anything for that!?!?

so i think the problem lies within the fact that i cannot watch AVI's ( i used, DIVX player, WMP, windvd none works, BUt they did about 3 months ago ) in any player, if i send a movie to a friend VIA downloading from me, it is fine at his house but not mine. ive always watched avi on my pc but just lately i've not been able to. I dont know what else to try, at this point i usually resort to formating and starting fresh but i got to much on the pc to do that at the moment, so im stuck!!

Can someone out the help me out!! Thanx
