When I tried converting an xvid .avi, it played and looked fine in Media Player. However, when I burned it to VCD, the right half of the screen had these green lines (like stripes) running horizontally. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Leigh

I am not a pro or anything but what I usually do with a Xvid is convert it to divx. That for some reason pulls the green tint that the Xvid leaves behind out. All you need to convert from Xvid to Divx is Virtual Dub.
Hope this helps
