  1. Help!
I have a lot of short AVI segments (around 238 AVI files) on my home MiniDV which I like to burn it on a DVD. However, when tried using Sonic MyDVD to compose a DVD, it told me that I've exceeded the number of movies per disc when I hit around 100.

    1. Is this a limit on just Sonic MyDVD or all DVD?
    2. If so, what's the best way to get around it. I tried using VirtualDub to combine some of the smaller segments but found it quite a pain to having "Append AVI segment" using the menu for adding one segment at a time. If VirtualDub is the best way, is there a way to append a list rather than one at the time?

    Thanks.

  2. Most of the SW I use has a limit of 20, I know that is artificial if you can have 100.

But you can use something like Tmpgenc to convert to MPEGs and then join the MPEGS into bigger files (and use the chapters within the MPEGs) with your # of AVIs, I would have to create all those as mpegs, and then combine them into no more than 20 larger files and then make around 12 chapters per movie/mpeg

  3. Thanks. More questions:

    1. What's the best way to join the MPEG files?
    2. Are there any add-on's for VirtualDub to edit job list?

    Thanks again.
