  1. Hello people i have got a problem. I have a dvd with only songs on it. I used Dvdbackup to rip the dvd. And Used dvd2oneX to make the dvd to 4.4 gb So I could use toast to burn it. But the strange thing happend after i draged the vob files to the toast it gives that it is 4.5 gb instead the 4.4gb I had chosen . I have tried this 3 times to get 7.2 gb to 4.3/4.2/4gb but ervery time it gives 4.5 gb if I put in the toast to burn(((.

    Do I something wrong???????

Just a little wondering, but you might try making the target size 4272 MB instead of 4372. Since it seemds to be a 100 megs over.

  5. Maybe dvd2one doesnt handle audio files as good as video...

While experimenting one time I tried to compress a DVD to the size of 700MB - call me crazy but hey -
The DVD itself was about 6 GB with Video and 1 AC3 channel. After DVD2one was done - the outcome was 1 GB - I think DVD2one does nothing with the AC3 because thats already compressed and after reading your problem I think your problem has something to do with that.

These audio files of yours - can you post what format they are?

  6. DVD2OneX does not compress the audio, only video. It won't change the size of any audio files, other than deleting unwanted ones when told to do so.

Others have reported success with the technique of reprocessing a compressed DTOX DVD when the compressed files are greater than 4.4 GB on the first go.
