  1. I can't find a tutorial on this. I have a TV/OUT S-Video input on my video card... I think I know how to hook it up also. But please clarify for me.

Basically I need to know what program to use that will capture a VHS and be able to save it. Does this exist? Thanks

You say you have a TV/OUT S-Video input on your video card. But is it really an input? Many video cards have TV out, and usually give you a phono (RCA) composite socket and a S-Video (mini DIN) socket. But both of these are video output to allow you to display your computer screen on a TV (they just give you a choice of connector and quality). They are only outputs, not inputs though so you can't connect your VCR to them and Capture the contents of a tape.

If you have got video inputs, as housepig says, look under Capture to the left.
