    Does anyone know a software that I can create a photo slideshow with music, and create a mpeg 2 file from it.

    Mydvd creates the slideshow with music, but I have to burn it using that program, so I can't author with any other program.

    You didn't mention how much you were willing to spend, but for $50, Ulead's DVD Pictureshow works great.

    DVD Picture Show

    I personally use Sonic Foundry's Vegas 4+DVD, but it costs several hundred dollars.
