What would happen if I disabled NAT?
My router allowes me to do this.
Would it drop the oppressive firewall and allow me to fully call out and in?
Both the computers attached to the router have their own firewalls so would I in a sense create a no-man's land were the data traveling between 2 computers was vulerable?
Or would I not be able to get online w/ both computers./

NAT ("Network Address Translation") is what allows you to have more than one machine online even though you only have one IP address for your internet account.
