dvdxcopy and dvddecrypeter read errors

i am trying to backup my animatrix and when i use dvdxcopy it gives me a read error right after i press start.

after i start copying with dvddecrypter it keeps on giving me a read error and after me pressing ignore five times it asks me if i would like fast error skip on, but when it goes to the next file the same thing happens again.

btw i have a tdk 440n dvd multi burner if that makes any difference

any help is appiciated and i am glad to be part of dvdrhelp.

are u trying to rip the vob files or trying to rip the film from the disc directly to mpeg or avi?
