  1. Hi.
I have downloaded a vcd-file and when I start it in my computer i works very good.
When I burn it to a cdr in Nero the sound is gone.
Nero gives me the options to either:
"turn of standard compliance and continue"
    "Re-encode the video"
    or
    "Cancel"

    I tried the first option...

I can see itīs a valid vcd in mv-type.

    Any idea?
    Any help is highly appreciated

Open the MPEG in TMPGenc (the DAT file from the disc can be opened as if it was a standard MPEG).

To do this, select FILE | MPEG TOOLS. Go to the DEMULTIPLEX tab, and browse to your DAT file. It should report Video an Audio stream information. Chances are, your audio stream is not VCD compliant. The audio should be "MPEG-1 Audio Layer-2 44100Hz 224kbps". The bitrate (kbps) may be different but the rest of the file specs should read the same.
