  1. hi all i recently had to reformat my computer so i had to re add media studio 6 and my drivers for my win tv capture card. now i cannot hear audio on media studio 6 anymore. I have been using my win tv card and MS6 for over a year with no problems. Now i dont know what to do.. Does anyone know what i need to do so i can hear sound now? I do hear sound when i run the win tv card and i can record avis with it but media studio doesnt work anymore.. Im desperate and you are my only hope! thank you for your time!

  2. Do you mean there's no sound when you're playing from the timeline?
    You may have run into the DV audio bug. It's a known flaw, which might be fixed in 6.5 out next month.

    There are 2 solutions. Set project settings to PCM audio when you're editing (selecting DV audio when you render the final video) OR put a one second clip of 48kHz DV audio at the front of your project (i.e. make a clip in MSP yourself with DV audio at 48 kHz and use this)

  3. thank i got that fixed but when i try to capture with media studio 6 capture program i dont have sound. would you or anyone else know why that is happening
