Is that going to be the newest coolest thing to do. Like being the first poster in a slashdot article, being second poster for one of my polls is now everyone's goal.

That's right everyone, now all of you can compete to be second poster in one of tgpo's polls. Come on' give it a try. Do you think you are faster than everyone else on vcdhelp? Prove it. Gargantuan just did!

  14. Tricked out, fully loaded 2002 Toyota Highlander
    1999 Volvo S60
1999 Chevy Silverado Truck, grandfather's car but is in my garage.

The most expensive car is My 1985 Toyota Celica Supra!!!! Given to me from my brother who got it from our Grandfather.

Yes my grandfather was an old geezer in 1985 driving a 17,000-dollar car!!!

One point is the air conditioning could be better in the Celica Supra; it gets the air blowing correct not the temperature. Three years later my grandfather purchases a 1988 Nissan mini cab for around 7k-8k. That is long gone, got wrecked .

The Volvo S60 and the 2002 Toyota Highlander are not mine they belong to my parents.

Oh by the way back when 18 years ago the Celica Supra was fully loaded, not many extras were even available.

Still consider the Celica Supra as my brother's car.

A fun car would be to take a Toyota Echo and do this:
Get rid of the steel wheels; get some mag or aluminum wheels.
    Get rid of the engine
    Get rid of the transmission
Put in a 2002 or 2003 Celica GTS engine in
Put in Transmission from the 2003 or 2002 Celica GTS.
Remove all the stuff you can from the car, i.e. radio, cup holders, trunk cover, spare tire, etc, etc

Things to add to the modified Echo (if you have more money than common sense):
Add two super chargers that are from the Mini Cooper S.
Get wide mag or aluminum wheels
    Aggressive tires.
Lower the car an inch or two
Add a ridiculously large spoiler to the rear
    Paint the car white
Get a new muffler that makes the car sound as if it were buzzing when accelerating, or get one that makes the car very quite.

Then race that bright, flashy red Mustang from one light to the other light. Hopefully you will beat the bright, flashy red Mustang, because the driver will not expect your car to be that fast.

The stock Echo weighs around 2,100 pounds. =)

  20. 2000 Chevy Tahoe...Company vehicle gas and insurance...personally its too big...i would be happy with a Ford Explorer...and whats up with these suped up little toy cars (Honda Civic) is just one example to make them sound as if they have this huge power behind them..Exhaust pipe tips?? Dont get me wrong alot of them look nice but that friggin gurgling sound the pipes make is annoying...i had a friend who wanted one of those for his 2liter engine and when i asked why his response was for more power?? i was like, Dude, you cant and don't have any nitris, the speedometer only goes to 85. what kind of power do you seek...i mean i had a 79 Cobra with a 305 in it...it had a 351 cam, 4 barrel double pump holly carb and shift kit...now that was some power when i ran it up against Camaro's and TA's....it was supped....but that was 15 years ago...anyway the space age cars look nice and I'd even get one but those friggin tips got to go.......

Personally, I don't quite see the point. They never end up sounding like they have a powerful engine, they end up sounding like a lawnmower. Yeah, that's really impressive, it sounds like it has a 2.5HP engine. Where's the rope you pull to start it?

I voted 'car' although that's what I'd call my family Ford Mondeo.
*My* 'car' is a 1971 MG B Roadster

    Wonderful.
I was looking for a path for my meaningless life to follow
Hey tgpo, I see you edited your very first post. What did you do, spell 'car' wrong?

  28. I was very tempted to vote for the last one. TGPO is very obliging when I say, "bend over, I'll drive." I didn't because the vote is for primary mode of transportation. In which case, my vehicle is not on the list. I drive a 1985 Wayne Chaparone school bus. You should see the faces of the gay asian boys in their tricked out rice burners as I blow past them from light to light in nearly four tons of educational metal.
