what standalone player?

I want to buy a dvd player. I must have dolby digital and it must play vcd/xvcd/svcd good. Also it shouldn't cost more than 300$
I live in sweden so region 2 or regionfree is also a must.
Please help me, what player is the best? I have heard that the curtis mathes should be good but can I order it to sweden?

crutis mathes player is region 1 and so far there is no hack for it....however, i have played a region 2-6 disc i own fine on the player, with a slight problem (menu related) that did not effect how i can play the disc
