i bought a dvd box set "nightmare on elm street all 7 movies, but the subtitles are in english. i want to make a home copy dvd-r with portuguese subtitles
. can anybody tell me what software i need to acomplish this task.i have a toshiba sd-r5002

i have already translate the subtitles, but i don't know how to rebuilt the dvd with the new subtitles. i am trying the ifoedit. i load the video the audio the chapers, but the subtitles are not compatible. my subtitles have a sub extension and the ifoedit don't acept this format
. how can i convert the subtitles to a format compatible with ifoedit

go to www.doom9.net download page and download SubToSup in the subtitle section

i have downloaded the program but i need a *.idx file
i only have a *.sub file
. but in the same page were i download the program there is another program called "dvd subtitle converter".i download this program and i have susesfuly converted and rebuilted the movie
. tested my fresh movie with powerDVD and works perfectly
now i am ready to burn this baby
