    I downloaded some MPEG's from the net and burnt them in Nero as a video CD. When I play them back in the dvd player, the video is black and white. However, they come out in colour in another dvd player.

    Any ideas???

    Are both DVD players either PAL or are both NTSC? Or is one PAL/NTSC and the other multi system (plays both)? Sounds like the disc is in PAL format and the first player is NTSC or vice versa.
