I dont see it saying G03...you think this will work with my Pioneed 105 burner? I dont understand why they tell you to get firmware to burn at 2x.

They'll work fine. I use the exact same ones on my Pioneer A05 (Cendyne DVR 105)
They'll always tell you to keep your firmware updated to keep the drive running what they feel is it's best.
The G03, you'd see if you look at the discs signature - see the DVD Media section <-
Whatever you do, do NOT get Princo's. Not due to the Pioneer, just due to crappy quality. I have first hand seen them stop working after initially working fine.
Do a search for many threads talking of Princo / Bad / Media~~~Spidey~~~

crap...the Riteks for 134.99 100 spindle are only 1x...forget it. They have 1-4x Ritek 100 spindle for 179.99...not bad.
