  1. When I am trying to encode a VoB file ripped from a DVD movie to DivX using DVDx 1.8 the encoder gives me an error that say: "Sample not found. It happens some times at the begining or the end of the movie...."
Can somebody tell me what is the reason for this and how can I fix it?
    Thanks.

  2. It seems no one has encoutered such a problem. Maybe I should use another encoder to make DivX movies. Can someone suggest me something else. I really liked DVDx - it is simple to use, but if the problem is with the encoder - I can go ehead and swich it.

  3. I used to also get the same problem. Use FlaskMPEG. Though it lacks some of the features of DVDX, you get good quality and almost never encounter problems with encoding. You can also encode selections of the movie. But Nimo Codec users beware. If you plan on encoding MP# using Flask, make sure to only install the MPEG-LAyer 3 v. 42 codec or else the whole progra will crash when you try using the open dml avi output! Also Lame and Fraunhofer codecs tend to get off sync at anythin below 128 kbps mp3 audio.
