Hey, I just recently aquired a video that is in 2 parts. It had a white tint to it, so i took vdub and lowered the brightness and upped the contrast.. anyways, it looks great now, but vdub goes straight to avi. Is there any way i could keep this quality, and convert back to mpeg without getting the audio screwed up? I have never learned how to sync the audio with the video, as i have only used tmpgenc.
Can you guide me to any programs that can make the brightness and contrast change from a mpeg to a mpeg (staying the same format)
or
Can you guide me to a program/guide that explains how to sync audio with video. I have been horrible with this in the past and have no idea how.
Thanks,

So you have a video in mpeg format (mpeg-1) and want to change the brightness and contrast settings. You know how to do the changes in vdub but don't know how to get it back to mpeg format, am I right so far?
Assuming I have understood you correctly, you will have to re-encode. You can do this all in Tmpgenc, vdub is not required. Just load the mpeg as video and audio source and use the colour adjustment filter on the advanced settings tab to select the changes you want to do. Then encode the mpeg with the appropriate settings for (S)VCD or DVD or whatever.
Hope this helps. -
Wouldn't you want to use vdub to extract the wav. for the audio to avoid audio sync problems?
