  1. Strangest thing happend. Been using Dvd2one and Copytodvd for quit a while now. Good quality but yesterday I wanted to backup up Stuart Little 2 and tried it first on a RW. Played like a charm so next I burned it on a DVD+R an guess what? I didn't play at all. Tried it once again on a new DVD+R and the result was the same.
Never had any problems so far. Am I forgetting something or is it a glitch in the/a program?
    Help desperately wanted. Thanks

  2. Type of Media may be a problem. Have you changed the brand of media you are using for your DVD+R? You said you never had a problem before, do you mean using DVD+R media?

  3. Thanks for the answer. I allways used the same DVD+R(W) and never had a problem. This mornig I converted the movie Bad Company and that one played very well. So could it be that Stuart Little 2 is too small, or somithing like that?? (The movie is 2.91 Gig). The strangest thing is that the movie SL2 plays very well on my internal DVD drive. So there is data on the DVD+R

  4. If a new 1x to 4x DVD+R disc is used in a MP5125A drive with firmware versions 1.38 or earlier, it may not be possible to set the output settings properly for the test-write area (the area where the writing power settings are made). In such situations, the following may occur.
    - The process of writing to the disc cannot start
Also, if the writing power is set too high, the tracking servo may become unstable in the middle of the writing process, which could cause the following.
    - Data written to the disc cannot be read

To avoid these problems, it is imperative that the MP5125A drive’s firmware be updated to version 1.51 prior to use with these new discs.

This is from RICOH website that solved my burning problems.
To all DVD+R(W) users: UPDATE YOUR FIRMWARE when a new released.
    Also use DVD Bitsetter.
