  2. well, simply use the messageboard's search function, type in "napa jerky vcd", press search... there you are.

    most say that lowering the bitrate from 1150 kbps to 1123 kbps works wonders, other say using rt_cbr instead of cbr in tmpegenc is the way to go. you decide.

    napa suxxx big ass. i owned one and was VERY unhappy with this piece of crap. both the sound and the picture were incredible bad. bah.

    I see the same vcd in the napa 309 and 311.
    In the 309 the video works great and in the 311 the video pauses and get jerky...

    I think this is an Napa problem.


    Btw, some media types don't like to work in all napa models.

    In addition to slightly lowering the bitrate, also reduce the number of I, B and P frames in the structure of your GOP.
