  1. Hello, what do I need to get the real time preivew feature to work. It says it needs "a compatable decoder". Is it refering to a piece of software such as a DVD program or a CODEC...or is it refering to a piece of hardware like a MPEG decoder card. And what program/codec/hardawre will work?

  2. it is refering to the software cinemaster dvd codec and player. If you're running win xp though, it won't work without some hitches. All you need is the drivers for Cinemaster and not necessarily the player itself, but like I said the realtime preview I get has no sound (i don't know if this is by design or the fact that the cinemaster drivers were not made with xp in mind).

You can find the cinemaster stuff at you might have to register to be able to download.

  3. Thank you. Maestro is working just fine now!

Oh BTW... the reason the audio doesnt play is because you have to select what audio track you want played. you do this by clicking on the audio tack number (it turns red). the same goes for subtitles and movie files (if your dvd project is going to use multiple angles)

  5. Hmmm... I've noticed the URL for where to find it is missing...

  6. @ Gamey0: I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think that 'CinePLAYER' drivers work with Maestro. To the best of my knowledge, they must be 'CineMASTER', to be compatible.

@ Magus999: The Cinemaster DVD player software (and/or drivers) are copyrighted - in other words, you need to pay for them or use your own resourcefulness to find alternative means of acquiring them. Therefore, you will not find members of this forum posting direct URLs for you.

Yes, I can categorically state 100% that CineMaster99 DOES work with Maestro - definitely. CineMaster2000 also works 100% with Maestro.

Could you elaborate on this? I've never been able to get sound in Maestro's playback feature. Clicking the audio track before clicking the play button for the clip made no difference. Am I missing something?
