Hi,
I created a svcd and vcd using nero and when I put it into my dvd player, the player just tries to load the disc but never loads it. the player can load commercial ones with ease though.
when burning my own vcd/svcd, are there any precautious so that my disc is standard compliant?

Could be:
- 1) Your player can't read CD-R. You might be luckier with CD-RW
2) Nero. Don't use Nero to author - Use VCDEasy. My player has never accepted a Nero made (S)VCD, but has no problems at all with my VCDEasy authored.

I tried vcdeasy and it was the same, my player couldn't read the disc.
unless I did it wrong...
I'll try it with a RW and see how that works.
