  1. I have trouble ripping a DVD so that subtitles will be included in the .VOB file on my HDD ie: i run the .vob file and the subtitles are already there (so that i dont have to turn them on and i cant turn them off).

I can rip a dvd so that it make a separate file which has the subs in there, but i dont know what program to use to combine them with the VCD/SVCD mpg file.

Ive tryed using DVDx 2.2 which lets u rip a DVD to svcd or vcd and have the subtitles included but this program often runs into audio/video sync problems, and it wount tell me unless i stop the encoding, which equals a big waste of time. On avarage a DVD which is 2 hours long will take me a litte over 2 hours to encode.

If you know of a program that i can use to combine the subs with the vcd/svcd mpg file, or directly with the dvd's .vob file all my problems are solved, oh and if u know of a guide, that would also be helpful, it would save me some trial and error trying to figure it out.

Thanks for your help, its greatly appreciated.
