  1. Hi, i just recently bought a jlip capture pack jut to capture vcr and my camcoder movies, but i'm eading the instructions but i can't find a way to store it in my pc. The software that comes with it is the JLIP VIDEO PRODUCER.

    its that require some hardware also ? i know its some jvc thing that seems fairly unknown ...

    here is the lastest update for it ...

    i notice it accually seems to be free - at least the software portion

    its a old product - now discontinued i see on jvc website ..

    it is compatable with win98 .. is all it says ..

Thank you for the link, i just recently downloaded it but still has not worked with it yet, my main problem for what i see is that i can't record my tape to my computer, it seems that the softwares is only for editing and for making a new tape with the new editing. I'm looking hard everywhere to find out more information but i have yet not found anything that can help me recording the vhs-c tape in my hdd.

    did you hook up the hardware box that i think comes with it ?

  5. yeap, i've connected the jlip cable from the camcorder to the capture box, then a video cable to from the camera to the box too and a cable with a digital conection from the box and serial port conection to the computer. I can control the camera from my computer, i'm reading the software booklet back and foward but it seems not possible to do, even so i've just emailed jvc support to help me with it; my supposition is that the software is only to edit and to copy it to another tape, i hope i'm wrong, here is a link to the booklet, the part that says video producer is the one, the first part is for how to capture an image.
