NEC ND-1300A -- I got one here in the UK :)

The NEC ND-1300A is now out in the UK for as little as £240.00.

While it has 4x DVD± write and is on par with the Sony drive, it's a little slow with 16x to CDR unlike the Sony DRU-500A that can write at 24x to CDR.

The drive is also very quiet.

As the proud owner of both Dual Format DVD Recorders, I can say that if you get the NEC or the Sony drive, you won't be disappointed.

I also want a dual writer so I can test both system. I have waited for this writer a couple of months now and it has now been delayed until june/july here in sweden . Maybe I will have to get the sony dru500...but it costs like $450 here and the nec nd-1300 is priced to below $300.

I found a store in Sweden that had it in stock! For "only" 2700 swedish kronor (around £214). So soon can I also test my own dvd creations on a "real" dvd player....

Jag beställde den från www.dustin.se , men tror de har tagit slut i lager där. www.jmedata.se säger att de får hem den imorn.
