I've been capturing TV at mpeg2 with WinDVD Recorder, and i've been having a problem with the bitrate in TMPGEnc DVD aurthor. It seems to think that my mpeg files are all encoded at 9800kbps, which makes it problematic because then it gives me errors saying the maximum bitrate for a dvd is exceeded once my audio is put in. STrange, because i captured these files at 5000kbps, and the filesizes correspond to that, but for some reason the program thinks otherwise. It causes the final authored dvd to be unreadable even by computers, let along set-top dvd players.
I have no idea why this is happening. Thanks.
