I've got video I'm capturing from my DV camcorder.
I'm capturing audio @ 48KHz 16bits
I've captured with, Ulead DVD Workshop 2.1, MS Movie Maker, Ulead Media Studio Pro6.5, They all capture fine.
When I use TMPGenc to compress to MPEG2 the audio goes out of sync.
I've read about the need to re-encode audio captured at the wrong rate, but audio from DV should be fine because it is already @ the proper rate.
anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
gNOME

are the AVIs really in perfect synch?
that is a big problem for a lot of people after capturing DV.
otherwise, as a temporary fix, you could encode 30 chunks instead of the whole movie and that should solve the problem.
