or maybe i saw the family feud list. whatever..
was/is a funny show, watching people's brains get fried by the pressure of being on camera and saying dumb stuff, wishing that you never get put in that situation yourself as you'd do the same
can't say that for youve been framed any more
is les dennis still presenting, or has it moved on, like to dale winton, graham (or "gram" as his female american guests always call him) norton...?
Still puzzling over what food other than a potato/e can be brown or white... sugar is brown and white, but it's not really a food per se... meat is brown or white when cooked but usually refered to as red and white... etc... hmm.
doh. chocolates.

[quote="Silky31I think you mean "Family Feud is the US version of Family Fortunes", we export all our shit across the pond.[/quote]
I think Feud was first -- it's at least 20 years old. At least that's how it's been described recently on all those "craziest game show moments" that as on FOX and VH-1 this past month.
I think it's just the "newer" shows like Idol, Millionaire, Whose Line Is It, and others that snuck over here.I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored. -

Family Fortunes has been running in the UK since the 80's. Wasn't it Bob Monkhouse, Max Bygraves, Les Dennis and then this new tosser.
Oh and what about brown and white RICE! -
Brown and White = Chocolate

Yeah Holden is as fit as anything, les was one lucky bastard, even if it was only for a short period of time !!!

We did export some good stuff to the USA. Steptoe and Son became Sanderson and Son, Alf Garnet became Archie Leach, we got 2.4 children which started life as Rosanne.

Wasn't Les with Amanda for seven years?

Nice to meet a real fan but anyway, I wasn't expecting this thread to turn into a 'our show is better than yours' shite.

Hehe... wouldn't kick Ms Holden out of bed for eating toast...
Family Fortunes was indeed playing for cash as well as prizes. Don't know how the money stacked up against the american version though, seeing as we had - until millionaire - those limits on how big a monetary prize a show can give out..
White and brown, well i got chocolate, but bread and rice... goddamn you all! (i see white and 'wholemeal' on the shelf.. some upbringing eh...)
There has to be at least two other answers though! Remember the show usually had five to eight top answers for any question they surveyed the public on.
Hmm.
