Hey...
I'm kinda new to this stuff
I used dvd-decrypter and decrypted some dvds. It is like a karaoke dvd if that matters. (outcome IFO, VOB, and BUP files)
How can I get those files into avi or a format which can be burned as a vcd?
---------------------
EDIT-----
TMPGENc says that using the .d2v as a video source is unsupported, whereas the guide says to select the .d2v.

Thanks!

His name was MackemX
What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend? -
If you want an easy way to copy to vcd download Eazy VCD from the tools menu, will do the whole lot for you.

when I try to select my .d2v file as a video source in tmpgenc, it says that it is unsupported. The guides all say to select .d2v..wuts up?

If you get an error message when opening like file unsupported or can not open or is not supported
or you get an empty(black) video preview window
or the video look wierd in the video preview window like green or purple or pink
Try first to change the directshow codec reader priority settings in TMPGEnc under Option->Environmental settings->VFAPI plug-in and right click on the DirectShow Multimedia File Reader and increase the priority to 1 or 2 or to the top of plugin-list and try open the video.
If that does not help be sure that you have installed DivX or XviD or MPG2 or DV Codecs
also make sure that you installed the VFAPI plug-in, I have made that mistake before. -
in order to select the .d2v file in tmpgenc, I am forced to "show all files". In the guides the .d2v files appear in the window when "compressible video source" is selected as files of type:, but they do not appear on mine unless I have it show all files.
does this happen if the codecs mentioned aren't installed?
