    Any recommendations on a DVcam to use for analogue to firewire passthru?

    I have been using a Pinnacle PCTV to capture analogue @ VCD quality (352x288) but would like to capture old VHS and S-VHS-C at DVD quality, edit, and burn with a DVD burner

    My family bought a Sony DCR-TRV27 for me at Christmas--it works great for analog to digital pass-through via firewire! (And heck, I'm pretty happy with the camera too!)
