  1. Isn't it probably possible to author a DVD so that it requires a password to be played?

    Seems like that would be a function of the authoring software. Are there any like that?

    I'm not 100% positive, but I'd have to say no. No real use for something like that.

  4. Even if you password it, it will be cracked in seconds. I mean that is a major area covered on this site - smartripper - dvd decrypter etc...

    So I have to agree with pharoah

  5. some dvd players allow u to password, actually more of a numeric password protect to play a dvd...my sony dvd player has this function.
