  1. just split a film in virtual dub to 2 separate files then encode each separate file and then burned the first file which had no sound. Thought about playing this file back through windows media player and an error comes up about unsupported codec etc... But before I split the file it played great and sounded great on my pc ant body help!

    Does it play after you have converted it ? or before ?

  3. before I encode it it using tmpg it plays fine, but after it will not play on windows media. But I did burn one disc and the picture was fine but no sound

  4. Have you scanned and removed any bad frames ?

  6. Adding to my previous post ther is another post further down the board that says win. media player wont play mpeg2 format . which is what mine could be after splitting the files but still play fine till I encode tem using tmpg. But why no sound after encoding and burning
