they are real easy to do but ill save you a lot of time and effort (plus you can still create your art work in PS and import it into dvd menu studio as a psd) if you just buy DVD Menu studio which exports specifically for maestro and other high end author apps ..

  3. I have to agree! I bought this program myself and it's excellent. I must say, though, that I prefer to export my projects as generic .psd files, rather than using the specific 'Maestro' mappings setting. $69 may seem like a lot to ask for what, at first, appears to be a basic paint program, but it's much much more than that and you can get some extremely professional results from it - easily rivaling the artwork of, say Warner Brothers DVD menus, and often exceeding it.

The beauty is that you can continue to edit your (generically) exported projects in Photoshop, if you so desire, and DVD Menu Studio also allows you to create new shapes and stuff in Photoshop, and then import them into Menu Studio (although you could just as easily create these shapes in Menu Studio anyway, using the excellent vector editing tools). I particularly like the vector editing tools and the amazing light effects you can apply to give a truly 3-dimensional appearance.

    Arky ;o)
