Stuck Avi but NOT bad frame ??

Hi

Please help me.

I have an avi which is 720 x 576. Vdub says it is DivX 5.0.2 codec. Vdub also says it has no bad frames. However the video freezes at frame 300 but the audio is fine. Moving the slider has no effect. The video never returns. This applies to all the players I have tried. WMP,BSPlayer,Koala Player, Realone.

Koala avi fixer also says no bad frames.

I have tried DivFix1091 , AviDefreezer, DivXRepair, an anti freeze codec and nothing seems to work.

However if I run AviPreviewC 0.84 on it, it rewrites the whole avi without skipping any frames at all. The only problem I have after that is that I can not play the avi back using Windows 98SE. AviPreviewC detected the codec as Xvid. If I reboot into WinXP I can then play the avi.

I would really like to fix this freeze problem though.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd just open it up in Vegas Video, go to the bad frame and delete it, then render it back out.
