  1. Is not having a full working DEMO justifyable in giving it a low rating? I find it hard to believe what some of the posters are doing there. Me this program is like a second Christmas. One of my DVD has a cracked in the spindle center and using DTOX, I made a copy and use that to take along or playback on my system. You'd think they read the comments of real users and realize the DEMO is the same results as the full blown product....Strange.

Well i put my 2 cents in there! And also clicked the ! to get that review removed.

I suggest others do the same! Thats no place for that type of comment, here maybe, but not on the download site review.

Have you guys read any of the forums on the DVD2one web site? Theres an entire culture of complaining over there, that gives me a better appreciation of this place. I'm not surprised though that people don't understand the demo yields the same results (re: quality) as the full working version. Hell, there are people here that don't understand the demo IS the full working version unserialized.

My only complaint is the Mac version costs more (10 more euros than the PC version), but I understand and accept why that is.

  5. So many people have dreamt about it and asked for it (also in this forum) : finally they did it. And it works...obviously. Easy to check, nobody complained yet that there is any kind of problem...
I don't think anyone has the right to complain or blame the authors. How many apps have been done in the video field for mac and don't work, or at least not all the time ? And are not free either !
For the 10 Euros difference, on one side I agree it's not fair. We already pay our macs more expensive !! On the other hand, I think the authors knew they will reach a pretty small market (don't forget it's somehow business, otherwise they would have made a freeware!). So potentially they expect fewer people to buy and try to get their money by charging more... Well, er, maybe it' s not the only explanation, but at least it sound logic.

They also had to buy a Mac to build it on (neither Erwin or Rene had one before March), and had to ship it to the Netherlands from the United States. The shipping alone on that must have been a fortune. Also they built the software in like six weeks.

  7. Wow that guy Abbath is still at it. Now he's on Macupdate doing the same thing. What a strange person.

  8. Ignore the jerk, he's an MPAA plant. Interesting though, this software has definently created a buzz on versiontracker, it has over 100 reviews!
