how to rip into m2v or convert?

i need your help guys. I want to know what program that can rip movies into m2v? and how to do it.

and what program that can convert .mpg or divx into m2v? and how do i do it?

Could u guys please teach me please. thanx u so much.

and how to fit into a 80 min 700mb CD-r please help me on this.

rip method: Movie
Enable stream processing (stream processing tab)
choose video track, stream processing: Demux to extra file
choose audio track, stream processing: Demux to extra file

that should give you an m2v and an ac3 from your DVD.

encoding mpg's is a whole other mess. I use TMPGEnc to encode all my video sources to mpg. To make a movie fit on one CD you need to encode at a low bitrate, allowing a two hour movie to be only 800MB (yes 800, VCD's are MODE2 and can fit 800mb rather than 700mb on a standard CD-R)
