What DVD+R brands work with a Panasonic RP56??

I've tried HP, Verbatim, and Sony, and have had no luck.

They play on my cheap Magnavox, but not my RP56, which I use in my theater.

Any help would be appreciated!

I read an article once about Panasonic DVD players and the DVD+R/+RW format. The article indicated that Panasonic DVD players do not support this format because it is the rival to their DVD-RAM. I thought this interesting so I checked it out. Sure enough, none of my DVD+Rs or +RWs would play on my friends Panasonic DVD Changer (can't remember the model number). It played -Rs and -RWs just fine.

What method are you using to burn? Record Now Max from my experience burns the best. All the DVDs I used burning with Record Now Max worked on Stand Alone's compared to Nero. (Just burned the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS).

Also, what resolution and bitrate are the DVDs in? Some DVDs are stubborn when it gets to that stuff.

I use memorex, verbatim, and maxell.

I've been using DVDXCopy to burn. I'm a newbie to this, so maybe I'm not using the best program.

I'm looking for the most accurate copy as far as picture quality, because I want to be able to play these on my big screen, and have heard that some of the other programs cause the film to look terrible.

Anything you could recommend?
