I just started using mpegtool and have had the same error:
Access Violation at Address 32474DD7 in Module 'cp3240mt.dll'.
Read of Address 00894000
Not every time but always while trying to cut the second half.
I have encountered this on 2 computers:
WinXP Home
1.6GHZ
256MB ram
WinXP Pro
733MHZ
256MB ram
Changing the compatibility had no effect.
I have been using bbmpeg to cut but it is time consuming. DvTool was quick and easy but always messed up the begining of the second file. TmpgEnc always dropped the audio 20-30 seconds before the video ended. MpegTool is quick and easy...when it works!!
I do not want to encode the movie 1/2 at a time. I want to encode the full movie and cut the vcd/svcd quickly and easily. Can anyone out there identify this access violation and a fix? How about a recommendation on a good freeware cutting tool without de-muxing, re-muxing etc.
Thanks in advance for any help,
Stan
