  1. I recently downloaded the DVDlab beta release (.421) and have been having extensive troubles with the motion menus. I have a small video clip (DVD format) and an audio file (48khz) that I want to loop in the root menu. However, the video starts to play and then stops and restarts again. With that said the audio gets cut off as soon as the video stops thus causing the length of the audio track not to play all the way through. The audio track length is longer then the video length, but I want the video and audio to continue playing all the way through with no breaks obviously. The overlay selectable text also refreshes (disappear and reappear) each time as well. The audio track was not blended with the video track originally. I followed the tutorial on the help page, but I don’t know why the audio is not playing all the way through before looping or why the entire screen refreshes when the video ends. On another note, the SVCD movie frames are left justified on the screen. The black bars are on top, right side, plus bottom of the TV screen. I know the warning sais it won’t fill up the 720 x 480, but why does the video play on the left side of the screen? Is there anyway to center the video frame? Any help would be appreciated.

This program still has a lot of bugs, but looks promising. The first time I created a Motion menu (1 min clip with music in background) It worked great.

The next DVD I created that had a motion menu( different clip and music), would crash when I tried to compile it. I tried multiple clips at different bitrates, but the results were the same. It would start to compile fine, but would crash near the end of Motion Menu process. Windows reports it had to close program (I hate when that happens!)

Every other DVD I made came out great. I'm sure they will get the bugs fixed eventually.
Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........

  3. How did you create that motion clip? The issues I'm having with mine doesn't seem common. No crashing or compiling issues at all for me. I just can not get the audio to play straight through. The only thing I could do is to keep the video as a still image and have the audio settings as "inf" in menu playback. But as soon as the video is placed in motion menu it disrupts the audio track. Again, it seems like the motion video is dictacting when the audio should stop play and loop back. And apparently audio play stops as soon as the video stops even though the audio track is longer then the video play.
