Does any one know of a good xvid codec. I dowloaded and installed Xvid -04102002-1 and the Xvid play as they did before the codec was installed. Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance,

    This is so much fun!

  2. I use FFDShow for viewing all of my xvid and divx files. It has a plethora of options you can tinker with to make things look better, and is generally regarded by the HTPC community as the best codec you can use. DVDs also look great when postprocessed with FFDShow. The only one problem with it, however, is that FFDShow is quite a beast and will use up a lot of your CPU to run the filters.
