Ok, I finally got my xvid audio to sync up perfectly by extracting the audio with Vdub and then compressing it to mp2 with Besweet and then putting them together in TMPGE. Everything worked great until I got to playing the second VCD about half way through when I was done. There is a slight skip in the audio and then it is out of sync again. The other CDs are fine so I thought no problem I will go back and repeat the process to make the audio without the slight skip. Do you think I can repeat my inital success?? No, I can't even get the first half of the mpeg file to be in sync like before. The entire audio track is out of sync in my retrys. I have retraced my steps a dozen times with little variations to see if they would work. Nothing is working. What am I doing wrong?? I get the VBR audio warning when I open the original Xvid file in Vdub and the audio is MP3. I am about to freak since I can not understand what step I could have possibly missed. Any help would be great or even a point in the right direction. Thank you.

If I get a VBR warning then I use Goldwave to extract the audio. Load the avi, save, done.
