cutting a m2v file

does anyone know how i can cut a m2v file?

i basically just want to cut out the beginning of the m2v file

Use Merge&Cut in file/mpeg-tools of TMPGenc

i just tried it but i get an error when i try to edit the video. it says "could not obtain the length of the movie with DirectShow (0x800004001)"
is there any thing else i can do?

its really hard to cut something using this because it doesnt let you see where your cutting

even after i did it, the video would play. the screen was all green

File could just be corrupt. Try to run a disk doctor and/or defrag and pray it fixes your file. Otherwise, as baldrick said, give up.

i dont thin kthe file is corrupt because when i use tmpgenc, it doesnt let me do any cutting with any of my m2v files
